I am drowning in books. Which, theoretically, seems like a good thing, considering this means I do seem to read quite a lot. Practically though, most books end up standing in the bookcase, after I read them once, collecting dust and never to be touched again. Only serving as a reminder that – yes, I have read that book and occasionally – Oh, you’ve read that book?
Considering I have no problem reading on my Kindle, but still want to preserve that look at the bookcase and the reminders connected with it I’ll try to construct a digital bookcase here. With virtual shelves and pictures of the books I’ve read. Without the dust, without the wasted paper.
