on the last day we managed to squeeze in visiting the Amun Temple and Cleopatra’s Spring, plus a more-or-less hidden restaurant which we should’ve found earlier. located behind a small passage and thus not directly on the street it was far different than the busy and loud places we were at before. plus – puppy.
although for obvious diving reasons Dahab will probably always be my favorite place to visit in Egypt (although i presume trying the underwater ruins in Alexandria next year will be a competitor), this experience has been unreal. a pity it’s so hard to reach. a 9-hour-drive is not something i’d like to do frequently.
